1993: A Handle, Opening the Journey of Craftsmanship
Going back to 1993, in a hardware workshop in southern China, a few young craftsmen were repeatedly polishing a piece of brass. At that time, China's hardware industry was still in its infancy, and most handles on the market were poorly made, either with clumsy designs or quickly rusting. The founder of Tranfey looked at the loose handles on his own drawers and suddenly had an idea: "Why can't we make a handle that is both beautiful and durable?"
Without advanced equipment, they experimented repeatedly using the most basic manual techniques; without established designs, they went to furniture factories and building material markets, observing the habits of different users. When the first Tranfey handle was created, its surface polishing reached a mirror finish, the damping during opening and closing was adjusted through 1,000 trials, and the curve in hand perfectly fit the palm. When this handle was sent to a local furniture factory, the factory director was surprised and said, "I have never seen such exquisite hardware."

33 Years of Dedication: Polishing Infinite Possibilities in the Details
From a small workshop in a factory to a company now equipped with a modern production line, Tranfey has traversed 33 years. Throughout these 33 years, they have always focused on only one thing—making handles.
To make handles more durable, Tranfey's engineers developed a "triple anti-corrosion process": first, the base material is treated with electrophoresis, then a nano-ceramic coating is sprayed, and finally, high-temperature curing tests are conducted. Handles treated with this process can withstand 1,000 hours without rust in salt spray tests, three times higher than the industry standard.
To meet the aesthetic needs of different users, Tranfey's design team visits over 20 countries worldwide each year, drawing inspiration from the classical architecture in Paris for lines and extracting color matching ideas from minimalist homes in Tokyo. Whether it is a European-style retro carved handle or a modern minimalist straight handle, each product undergoes at least five user tests to ensure a comfortable grip and smooth opening and closing.
Once, an American customer requested a handle suitable for left-handed use. Tranfey's team did not refuse directly but instead established a project team. After three months of development, they launched an adjustable "ambidextrous handle," which later became a bestseller in the American market.
Trusted Globally: Bringing Chinese Craftsmanship to Every Corner of the World
Today, Tranfey's handles have entered millions of homes and commercial spaces worldwide. In the United States, Tranfey's silent door lock handles are installed in high-end apartments in New York; in Europe, a century-old German furniture brand has designated Tranfey as its supplier; and domestically, from Beijing's traditional courtyards to Shanghai's skyscrapers, Tranfey's presence is evident.
Last year, a European customer sent Tranfey a photo: in the photo was an elderly person with white hair, holding a Tranfey handle to open the door. In the email, the customer wrote: "I have been using this handle for 20 years, and it still looks like new. My children now use your products too; it is like an old friend in our home."
For 33 years, Tranfey has neither chased trends nor expanded blindly. They have always believed that a small handle connects not only doors to doors and drawers to cabinets but also the trust between brand and user. In the future, Tranfey will continue to explore infinite possibilities in the world of hardware handles, using each product to bring a more comfortable and better living experience to users.
